About me
I have been writing with serious intent for thirty years. I've been published and produced multiple times. My education has focused on literary theory, theater history and criticism, as well as creative writing. I also sell my collage art in a Redbubble store.
Education
BA in English Literature from UCLA; MFA in playwriting from SIUC
Publication
I have been published as a playwright. I had articles about Shakespeare published, as well as blog pieces. I've self-published several novels and one book of poetry under the name Lady Ristretto. I have also worked as a freelance erotica writer with individual clients.
Production
I've had several plays produced at universities and theatre companies, in Illinois, Texas, and New York.
Cirriculum Vitae
This is mostly stuff I did during my college years and immediately following, including papers I wrote and presented at conferences, Shakespeare work, and university teaching experience.
Margie's Wonderland In Alice: The Uncertainty Principle
Margie Pignataro has written a great piece for our generation that actually explores the generation instead of commenting on it.
Acorn Jones
Maybe Pignataro is trying to tell us that not everything we think about, or dream about, needs to hold so much weight? Maybe some things in life just happen and there is no explanation or justification? Maybe there is an impromptu horse-race, or a talking slice of last night’s Toro on stage because–well, no because. No cause. No effect. There is no metaphor. There is no thinking. There is no thing. Nothing. Could that be it? Like Alice and her Wolf, maybe it’s time to just let it all go.

PLAYS
This list is in no way comprehensible, but includes what I would consider my best work. This also includes author's notes and photos and pages from past productions.
NUDIST CHICKEN THEATRE COMPANY
A theater company I started in Las Vegas, NV in January, 2020. As of today, it performs only on the internet. As a warning: this page is weird and I highly recommend the chicken burger.
LADY RISTRETTO
I think my strongest novel is Dying in Passion, set in Pompeii in the years before Vesuvius erupts. I also have a lesbian erotica series about a fortuneteller named Pia Palladino, set in the 1920s.
